- Seal inspection:
Inspection parts: O-ring of pipeline joint, shaft end oil seal, oil pan sealing gasket;
Signs of damage: Oil leakage, air leakage, deformation, cracking, and hardening of seals (no elasticity when touched by hand).
Replacement steps:
Dismantling: After stopping the machine to release pressure, dismantle the relevant components (pipelines, end caps) and remove the old seals;
Cleaning: Wipe the sealing groove with a clean cloth to remove oil stains and impurities;
Installation: Select new sealing components of the same specifications and materials (recommended to use oil resistant and high-temperature resistant materials), apply a small amount of lubricating oil, and insert them into the sealing groove to ensure that they are installed in place without distortion;
Test: Start up and run to check for leaks.
Maintenance cycle: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the seals every 6 months, and shorten it to 3 months in harsh operating environments.
