- 1. Model selection: Select specialized lubricating oil based on the type of air compressor (piston/screw) and operating temperature. Common models include ISO VG46 and VG68. Mixing different brands and models of lubricating oil is strictly prohibited.
2. Replacement timing: Oil lubricated models should be replaced after 2000 hours of operation or 6 months (whichever comes first); When the oil turns black, has an odor, or emulsifies and delaminates, it needs to be replaced immediately.
3. Replacement steps:
1.1. Shutdown and cool down to room temperature, release system pressure;
1.2. Open the oil drain valve and completely drain the old oil;
1.3. Disassemble the oil filter and replace it with a new filter element;
1.4. Close the oil drain valve and add new oil to the standard level;
1.5. Start up and run for 5 minutes, check for oil leakage, and observe if the oil level is normal.
4. Attention: The amount of oil added should not be too much (to avoid carbon buildup) or too little (insufficient lubrication); Record the running time after replacement for future maintenance.
